Adobo Sa Gata
Ingredients
1½ cup thin coconut milk (gata) or water
1 dressed chicken (cut into serving pieces)
1 cup thick coconut milk (gata)
½ cup vinegar
1 clove garlic (minced)
½ cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
½ tablespoon pepper
Preparations
Mix all the ingredients together (except the thick coconut milk) in a non-stick saucepan. Bring to boil until the chicken becomes tender. When little sauce is left, add the thick coconut milk. Simmer until a saucy consistency is achieved. Remove from fire and serve hot!
