Pancit Canton Ingredients

  • Meat and Seafood Ingredients
    • 1 cup pork; cut in strips
    • 1 cup chicken breast; boiled and cut in strips
    • 1 cup shrimps; shelled

    • 2 cups cabbage; cut in strips
    • 1 cup chicharo (sweet peas)
    • 1 medium carrot; cut into strips
  • 1 package 1 lb pancit canton (egg noodles)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion; chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic; crushed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cooking oil
  • 2 calamansis or lemons; sliced

Pancit Canton Cooking Instructions

  1. In a wok, saute garlic and onion.
  2. Add meat ingredients and continue sautening until meat becomes tender.
  3. Add soy sauce and simmer for a while.
  4. Add broth and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the vegetable ingredients and when crispy tender, add the pancit canton.
  6. Mix well and cook until done. Serve hot with sliced calamansi.
