Ingredients

1 chicken (cut into serving pieces)
1 onion (chopped)
1 head garlic (minced)
3 green onions leaves (chopped)
½ kilo sotanghon (vermicelli) noodles
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Patis (fish sauce)
½ teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons cooking oil
6-8 cups chicken broth

Preparations

Saute the garlic and when brown, set aside.

In a cooking pot, stir fry the onion and the  chicken. When chicken turn light brown, pour the chicken broth until the chicken becomes tender. Drop the sotanghon noddles, stir well and continue to simmer until the noddles becomes tender. Season with patis and pepper to taste.  Transfer in a big bowl and garnish with green onion leaves and brown sauted garlic. Serve hot!
