Bamboo Shoot with Saluyot Leaves
Ingredients
1 cup shredded bamboo shoot
3/4 cup water
1 small broiled fish (tilapia or bangus)
2 tablespoons bagoong
1/2 cup saluyot
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Preparations
Put water in the cooking pot and bring to boil. Drop the shredded bamboo shoot and boil until tender. Add the broiled fish and pour a small amount of bagoong. Add the saluyot leaves and cook for five minutes. See to it that only a small amount of water is left when cooked. Add the lemon after removing from the fire.
